About BRDG - bridge to connect
Bridge to Connect (BRDG) was founded in Orange County, California, in 2018. This program was created to provide mentorship, coaching, and research opportunities to first-generation college students in STEM fields. BRDG creates a pool of diverse, well-rounded, and socially aware future leaders available for employment within technology industries. This program recruits professionals to guide these students in navigating the do’s and don’ts. Also, this program provides students with a foundation to participate in building and shaping the next generation of professionals, including resume writing, social media presence, public speaking, interviewing, leadership skills, and understanding of company structures. Technical projects and workshops are tailored towards the students, their interests and the career they are pursuing.
