The association was founded by Dr. Amir Bar-Shai, head of the Institute of Pulmonary Medicine at Ichilov Hospital, together with other experts and stakeholders, and has set itself the goal of promoting the following topics: • Realizing rights for asthma, COPD, and bronchiectasis patients in dealing with authorities. • Improving the quality of life and life expectancy of patients with respiratory diseases and their family members. • Assistance in introducing services and treatments for asthma, COPD, and bronchiectasis patients into the " "Israeli National Health Insurance Law's Benefits Package" in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and health insurance providers. • Encouraging research and development in the field of respiratory diseases.
