Bridge the Gap is a language company that approaches language learning in a whole new way. By matching each student with their own conversation teacher, we ensure that relationship is at the center of language learning. Our conversation teachers are trained to provide a safe and un-intimidating environment for practicing a new language; all of our language teachers also speak English at least an intermediate level. Bridge the Gap prides itself on creating a perfect space for working adults to learn a second language. We create a personalized language learning plan for each student by working with the student to determine the pace, track, and starting level that works for him or her. The tracks available vary in amount of time the student have with their conversation teacher weekly and whether the student prefers pre-recorded grammar videos or live one-on-one grammar sessions. Every student is invited to come to bi-weekly open office hours hosted by our founder and grammar teacher. Bridge the Gap stands out due to its relational nature; learning through relationship allows for cultural exposure, accountability, sustainability, and tangible progress. We even offer to help our students plan a capstone trip to visit the country where their conversation teacher is from. Bridge the Gap is changing the way language is learned.
