Bridge-the-Gap Training Centre is the brainchild of the late Rudy Kamel, a luminary of the advertising industry in Lebanon and the region. He was a motivated educator, an impassioned communicator, and a staunch advocate of Lebanese cultural preservation who gave hundreds of young people the opportunity to learn from his decades of experience working alongside the giants of the MENA advertising industry. And this was his dream for Bridge-the-Gap; a platform where he could offer his time and knowledge to young, struggling creatives. He wanted to provide them with the skills they needed to thrive. Sadly, Rudy left us far too soon, in April 2022. To carry on Rudy’s legacy of training young creatives with the skills they need to succeed, Marc Kodeih and Mouna Mounayer launched Bridge-the-Gap, a BMZ-funded initiative supported by GIZ*, in November 2022. Our aim is to bridge the gap between academia and the corporate world in Lebanon by offering short free courses to young creatives that provide them with powerful real-world strategies, techniques, and resources that will help them develop essential employability skills. *The Bridge-the-Gap Training Centre is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
