About Bridge Troll
About Bridge Troll is Tiverton's very own independent gaming café and shop. We stock a wide range of collectable card games, board games and tabletop miniatures. Supporting many different hobby groups meeting up and using the game rooms, it is a friendly and relaxed place to meet people who are enthusiastic about playing games of all kinds. The dedicated spaces mean that it is a great place for families and large groups of friends to gather and game together. Freshly ground barista coffee, milkshakes made with real diary ice-cream along with cakes and snacks to keep you energized while you play from our large board game library. History Beginning as dream of owner Reuben Beard who enjoyed hanging out in the Bath Games Workshop store in his late teens. Following a 20 year career in hospitality, the time came in September 2019 to make the dream a reality. With a personal Warhammer collection which was taking over the house Reuben opened the first store on Angel Hill hoping to be a hub for other enthusiasts to meet, paint and play together. March 2020 brought the unexpected to all and so Reuben began home delivery's on his 'one trip out a day' and provided a website and social media channels to keep communication with the initial customer base though the lockdowns. It became clear with the easing of restrictions that local appetite was increasing and so in February 2022 the shop moved two doors up to a larger premises where it would be better able to serve the growing community. With the change in location many more opportunities became possible and so to assist Reuben his wife, Sophia came on board as a full time partner in the business in April 2022.
