About Bridged Health

Bridged Health aims to democratize health education! It was founded by medical students who wanted to address the healthcare inequalities their families faced due to the language barriers in the physician-patient relationship. Recognizing this was not an isolated issue, Bridged Health was designed as a 501(c)(3) to work with the many diverse communities experiencing similar inequities via grassroots student-led support. Bridged Health achieves this through partnerships with community organizations to deliver tailored health education that addresses communities needs. Bridged Health is run virtually by student volunteers (undergrad/grad) from all across the country with different backgrounds and cultures. Additionally, Bridged Health aims to incubate the next generation of community health activists through community health trainings, hands-on experience working with cultural diversity in the healthcare setting, and direct experience working with community partners to research and curate content to deliver back to the communities.
