About BridgeRutgers
BridgeRutgers is a chapter of the national student organization BridgeUSA, based on the Rutgers University New Brunswick campus. Our organization is founded upon BridgeUSA's three central pillars: Viewpoint Diversity, Constructive Dialogue, and Solution-Oriented Politics. We aim to combat the hyper-polarization that plagues modern American politics by providing a forum for multi-partisan civil discourse on the political issues that matter to Rutgers undergraduate students. Our purpose is to build a community: one in which students from across the ideological spectrum can engage as a group working together to understand—to bridge—the various perspectives behind the important political and social issues of our time.
