BridgeToBU aims to transform the dynamic of Boston University's student government through a direct approach to addressing student concerns and needs through the development of four fundamental principles– the CORE of BridgeToBU: Community, Outreach, Response, and Empower. At the center of our people-powered grassroots campaign, we aim to focus on leveraging the community's input to bridge the gap between the student body and student government through a collective agenda contributed to by all students across campus. Championing our campus' diversity as our greatest strength, we set out to build bridges between the communities of Boston University; between students and student government, and most importantly, students and the university administration. As the most experienced Student Government slate running, we recognize the traditional barriers and obstacles that discourage and impede student involvement. Through pursuing a collective agenda– what we call The People's Agenda, BridgeToBU aims to establish a student government that places the perspectives of all students at the forefront of all initiatives. Together, we will bridge students and build movements, for a greater student government and a greater Boston University.
