About Bridging Ages
Bridging Ages was formed by three friends who were concerned about loneliness in their village. They created a project to bring young and old together. In Life Stories, Teens visit older people 8 times over 8 weeks and then write a book about them. The book is professionally published and presented to the older participant at a public celebration attended by family and friends. Life Stories is available as an online Toolkit and Web App. It can be run by schools as a public service project or community organisations to bring meaningful social contact to older people.
