About Brie Cater
The name Brie is very special to our family and business. It all started about 12 years ago when the owner Brian Rubenzer had to meet Mollie’s family for the first time in Chicago- he knew how to win them over. Mollie’s mom Steph, Grandmother Mamie, and a few aunts were visiting and Brian had a trick up his sleeve. He ran to the grocery store and bought the ingredients to prepare Brie Encroute with fresh Raspberry and Blueberry Coulis. Needless to say the ladies approved! Mollie and Brian’s third child was born the day before the 4th of July of 2012 and the name Brie was the first choice. In the hospital they fell in love with their nurse who took special care of Mollie and the baby, her name was Elle. They put the two together and named their beautiful daughter Brielle. When we look at our children, it inspires and drives us to become better parents, employers, and caterers for our precious clients. When coming up with the new name, Brian was in the kitchen and as he looked over to Brie, she was laughing with a glowing smile. It was pure happiness. We believe that our customers deserve pure happiness during tender moments in their life.
