Welcome to Bright Horizons Health. We offer allied health and learning assessments, and therapy to promote positive outcomes for children, adolescents and adults. Bright Horizons Health focus on neurodevelopmental and psychosocial conditions that impact learning outcomes and daily living skills. With a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), our team specialise in comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, functional assessments and ongoing therapy. As a neuroaffirming team, we seek to understand the unique social, emotional, communication and sensory preferences of our clients to inform appropriate therapies and supports. We recognise that all learning profiles are unique, and we seek to understand and support factors that impact learning and engagement in school through cognitive and academic assessment. Functional assessments seek to identify clients' strengths and limitations to support their rehabilitation, education and participation in daily living tasks. Our OT team focus on increasing functional independence, facilitating client's integration into the community to support their daily functioning. With a focus on client-centred care, a range of evidence-based therapies are offered to address various presenting concerns including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy and Dyadic parent-child work.
