About Bright View Counseling

Ever since its founding in 2020, Bright View Counseling, PLLC has sought to bring mental wellness to Charlotte, North Carolina. Founder and therapist, Michael Clark-Borenstein, LCMHC believes in going beyond the “typical” therapy experience by offering unique approaches and tools during session – or what we like to call Therapy with a Twist! Regardless of what stage of life you’re in Bright View Counseling is able to help you. We specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, life stressors and adjustments, and behavioral modifications. Our style of counseling breaks the mold of the typical therapy session. We work and talk with our clients as if we were talking with a friend. We strive to create a casual and comfortable environment. You’ll never see a therapist in our office wearing a suit and tie. At Bright View Counseling you will get support from Charlotte, our office dog, go outside to play or go for walks, and use interactive tools and activities. We understand that everyone faces difficulties throughout life and it can be tough to go through those tough times alone. We are here to provide support and guidance to help you get to a brighter view. We provide a space where you can feel comfortable, safe, and free of judgement. We will work together to help you thrive by using some of the textbook tools while incorporating Therapy with a Twist!
