About Brighton Barkers

Brighton Barkers is a professional doggy daycare, dog walking and pet care provider, covering the Brighton and Hove area. Our range of services includes Dog Walking, Doggy Day Care, Pet Visits, Pet Taxi, Alternative Day Care for Dogs, One to One Dog Walks and more. My name is Lisa and I run Brighton Barkers. I have a varied background in Animal Care, having worked in a veterinary hospital for five years, assisting vets with operations, X-rays, blood tests, as well as helping out in the kennels, which involved cleaning out cages, walking dogs, feeding animals administering medicines. As well as having various animals growing up and five years experience in a veterinary hospital, I’ve also gained a City and Guilds NVQ 2 in Animal Care qualification. I have always loved animals and had many different types as I was growing up, from little furry friends such as mice, rats, rabbits, cats and dogs to tropical animals like snakes and lizards. We also currently have two dogs of our own, Toffee and Bailey, as well our cat, Bruticus. I promise to love and care for your animals as much as you do. To help me achieve this I only take a small number of dogs out at a time and whilst they travel in my van they will all have their own individual cages which makes it a nice experience for everyone.
