About BRIMM - University of British Columbia
The Bradshaw Research Institute for Minerals and Mining, or BRIMM, connects researchers, public policymakers and industry experts to promote cross-disciplinary research spanning the entire life-cycle of mining, from early exploration to mine closure and rehabilitation. Building on the successes of our sibling research group, the Mineral Deposit Research Unit, BRIMM engages experts from all research areas to address industry challenges and make each step of the mining sector safer, cleaner, and more efficient. We're currently working with the Mineral Deposit Research Unit (MDRU), NBK Mining Engineering Department, Geological Engineering Department, and Hydromet groups at UBC and are looking to expand into more diverse areas of mining research as we grow.
