About Bring it Back
Bring it Back is a conscious community created with the aim of reducing food waste in Greece by using a mobile app. Bring It Back app brings together F&B stores with consumers with the common goal of reducing food waste and generating profit for stores, consumers and the environment. It gives consumers the opportunity to buy surplus fresh food at a very affordable price. The range of options is wide, from restaurants to bakeries and supermarkets. The main target is to grow steadily until all food is consumed. Our story: 4 people, Christos, Georgia, Nizar and Shahla from 3 continents and 4 different cities met in Rome. Christos who is in the F&B industry referred to the problem of food being thrown away. And they started thinking about solutions. In January 2022, Bring it Back was founded in Athens, the city with the biggest problem in Europe.
