About Brisbane Advertising Association (BAA)

The Brisbane Advertising Association (BAA) was founded in 1989 by a group of prominent industry identities and is essentially a charitable organisation. It currently has around 150 financial members drawn from advertising agencies, all sectors of the media, marketing professionals, associated industries and specialist service providers. Our objective is to encourage social interaction amongst the various facets of the Brisbane Advertising Industry whilst raising funds for worthwhile causes and charities'. Each year the BAA donates over $20,000 to charities and worthwhile causes. We also continue to support members of the industry who have fallen on hard times. The BAA holds various events which attract high calibre guest speakers from the industry, community and political groups. Sponsorship of these lunches by major industry and hospitality groups consistently result in significant prizes of goods, services and cash offered for fundraising raffles.
