High in the hills of the Exmoor National Park (UK) a special herd of alpacas produce fine fleece that is hypoallergenic, three times lighter and warmer than wool. This precious fibre is carefully processed into a special yarn – EKOALPAKA. The yarn is versatile and is capable of being woven and knitted in commercial production. We design and make every single garment in our microfactory on the farm from this wonderful yarn. We use our own mineral water and solar power for production. We endeavour to minimise our carbon footprint. Every element of production is sustainable and the wellness of our consumer is our concern. We aim to keep the process of creating our beautiful garments close to nature. Attention to detail and craftsmanship lies at the heart of each and every product we make. The connection to the natural resources on our land and the artisans who bring our designs to life is at the core of our brand EKOALPAKA.
