About British Food Box
BFB is the new specialist food wholesale business started by Hannah Kinston & John Davies on their family farm in Snarestone, acting as a bridge between local food producers and consumers in Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire. John & Hannah had a small business selling cheese to help fund our way through University (John and Hannah LTD). Now that I (Hannah) have finished University, we wanted to set-up a full-time business and extend our range to include more local food products…. We wanted a new name to reflect our new bigger and bolder business venture. We both come from farming families and we know how much hard work, knowledge and passion it takes to produce quality food. Hannah has studied at The University of Nottingham and John is at Harper Adams University. Hannah has finished her degree, and has now turned their passion to create a new food business – British Food Box – working with local food producers. We want to support local food producers, and we will only sell British Food. The products will be sold either via delivery van (our box on wheels), or at our stall at Food Festivals (pop-up box) …whichever way we do it – it will be delivered in a box of one type or another. The name British Food Box says it all! Cheese is where it all started for us, and it is what got us through University. We will start with cheese, because everyone loves cheese. We have already started to work with other local products, to extend our range, if this is you then get in touch!
