About Brittany Beauty Academy
Brittany Beauty School was originally founded in 1968 by Margaret Falcaro. She was the owner and director of Brittany Beauty School in Levittown, New York. In 2000, Brittany Beauty School was purchased by Gary Ferrara, a licensed Cosmetologist, Manhattan Salon Owner, and 2nd generation school owner. In 2004 Gary Ferrara partnered with his nephew, Vincent J Ferrara, and opened a second location in Bronx, NY. In 2010 the partners recognized the increasing demand for licensed skin care professionals and expanded the course offerings of Hairdressing & Cosmetology, Nail Technology and Makeup Artistry to now include Esthetics and Waxing. To reflect the additional course offerings and campuses, in 2016 Brittany Beauty School re-branded itself and is now known as Brittany Beauty Academy. In 2020 Brittany Beauty Academy introduced hybrid learning, combining live online and in-person classes taught by licensed professionals. Whether students choose to be online or in-person, Brittany Beauty Academy is committed to providing the highest quality of education as we have done for more than 50 years. Brittany Beauty Academy is the premiere school for appearance enhancement, offering multiple programs including Hairdressing & Cosmetology, Esthetics, Nail Technology, Waxing and Makeup Artistry. Some courses are available in multiple languages. Our business plan rests on experienced teachers, smaller student to teacher ratios and a commitment to education.
