Mission BUAC focuses on providing students with the opportunity to hone the skills and knowledge they will need to be successful in the accounting field. We hope to provide students with endless opportunities to network and expand their connections – from industry professionals to their fellow peers. BUAC hopes to facilitate a learning environment where accounting students obtain the soft and technical skills required to render change within the accounting profession. Lastly, BUAC hopes to challenge students through the case competition that will test their intelligence, presentation, case analysis and team building abilities. Vision Our vision is to continually educate accounting students in Ontario about the global industry of the accounting profession, inspire career paths, provide technical expertise and promote social-academic balance. Values We value openness, commitment to excellence, continuation of self-improvement, honesty and integrity. While we are committed to providing an inspirational, fun and interactive conference, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional forum, where the opportunity to meet and connect with professionals in the accounting field will be an invaluable experience for students. Even more, we value growth, as students will have the opportunity to take on the role of an accountant and take on a case providing them with an experiential learning that will no doubt allow them to gain invaluable skills and knowledge.
