About Brock University Debate Society
The Brock University Debate Society (BUDS) will provide an inclusive and healthy environment which focuses on facilitating respectful debate; we are looking to establish a community for all interested in debating in professional and/or amateur capacities. BUDS seeks to foster the development of technical and soft skills through public speaking and courteous discourse. BUDS exists to encourage participating members to confidently express various stances on provided topics. We plan to arrange monthly debates based on proposed topics from the executives as well as suggestions from our club members.
