About Broken Dharma Forge

Born from a desire to escape the empty motions of working for apathetic companies while settling for less-than-acceptable results, I left my old job, and -- with the support of my lovely wife -- began to pursue a career in doing something I loved; turning slabs of high-quality steel into all manner of knives, be it for EDC (every-day carry) purposes, bushcraft use, kitchen application, or even awesome wall decorations. Through Broken Dharma Forge, I was able to turn passion into production. Although only a small sole proprietorship, we take great pride in bringing our crafts not only to local events, but also to the digital world where we hope to expand our customer base beyond just the borders of this state. None of our knives are imported or made with any form of cheap mystery steel. We craft exclusively with high-carbon 1084, and while many companies of today focus on light weight and conventional designs, we aim for the polar opposite. Heavy, reliable, robust -- or bust. Ideally, our customers should already be comfortable with handling knives and be knowledgeable in proper maintenance, but we're also always happy to help guide anyone who's looking to purchase their very first high-carbon blade. Hand-made each and every one, no two of our knives will ever be completely identical. As imperfect and diverse as their users, our knives strive to be long-lasting companions that'll help you get through the toughest times, the best hunts, or the biggest meals. With patina on the steel like pictures in an album, we hope that you enjoy the creation of many long-lasting memories with our blades at your side.
