Broughton Sanctuary is a dynamic 3,000 acre estate in Yorkshire where guests can witness recovering nature, as well as undergo personal transformation. Enjoy experience based holidays, take over a Historic House as your own home, explore the UK's leading Wellbeing Centre and discover our inspiring Event Venues and Locations. The Hall: Broughton Hall is a private family-owned historic house which has been in the family since 1597, available for groups or individuals to take over as their own home for a minimum of 3 nights. Featuring beautiful bedrooms the Hall is perfectly designed for small house parties of 8 to 22. Avalon: Avalon is our dedicated state-of-the-art wellbeing retreat centre. Our 3000 acres are abundant with nature immersive experiences to enjoy. Our Avalon pool suite is an incredible space to feel at peace, in addition to our meditation pods, wild swimming and woodland sauna. Utopia: Utopia is a peaceful haven; a unique and inspiring contemporary venue designed for meetings and events. The award winning building, designed by Sir Michael Hopkins, is set within a beautiful walled garden, serving healthy breakfast and lunch or available for private hire during evening or weekends. Nature Recovery: The Broughton Sanctuary Nature Recovery Programme is a heartfelt commitment to address one of our deepest contemporary crises – our lack of harmonious co-existence with the Earth – an issue causing mass extinction of species across the globe as well as a deep lack of belonging for humanity. Guests are welcome to get involved in this project if they wish to during their stay at Broughton. Holiday Cottages: Also on the Estate are 19 individually designed holiday cottages - each offering a different countryside setting with breathtaking views for your short break or holiday in the Yorkshire Dales.
