About Brullen® Company

Our company was founded in 2014 when owner Alejandro Herrera, disillusioned by the poor quality products he found in some high-end “designer” brands, decided to put his years of product development and manufacturing experience to work. He started his own company to serve customers who are seeking genuine luxury and high-quality craftsmanship. The Dutch word Brullen (from the German Brüllen) means to shout, scream, or roar. Our lion’s head logo signifies the ultimate in quality craftsmanship in everything from leather wallets and belts to handbags and apparel. We are located in Gilroy, California—a “community with a spice for life” and home of the world-famous Gilroy Garlic Festival. We are inspired by many diverse cultural influences in our local region, from Gilroy’s own small-town charms to the high-tech innovation of Silicon Valley, the urban sophistication of San Francisco, and the laid-back luxury of Monterey and the Central Coast. PRODUCTION AND MANUFACTURING The Brullen Company’s long-term goal is to have all of our products MADE IN THE U.S.A. by sourcing our components from American suppliers and doing all assembly and handwork in California. We may occasionally need to source products outside the U.S., but our mission is to bring manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. Our products are not mass-produced. We are motivated to make the finest accessories and apparel with unsurpassed quality. Most of our accessories are made using CNC, lathes, drill presses, and sewing machines to ensure the precision craftsmanship our customers deserve. We also use hand labor to finish off small details, and all production runs must pass our rigorous quality control inspection process. This kind of attention to detail takes extra time—but we feel our customers are worth it.
