About Bryn Bella Guest House
Bryn Bella Guest House in the Snowdonia National Park, has 5 en-suite bedrooms offering comfortable bed and breakfast (B&B) accommodation in Betws-y-Coed. This non-smoking guest house overlooks the village of Betws-y-Coed, and offers B&B with many comforts and facilities including free WiFi internet access in all rooms and there is ample private parking. Here at Bryn Bella we promote Sustainability in everything we do. We promote car free tourism and have a range of information regarding walks and activities which can be done from the house utilising buses and trains. Installing a charging point for electrical vehicles was a natural progression of this policy and we were the first Guest House in North Wales to do so. We care passionately about the environment and are a regular port of call for guests travelling using only public transport. Listed as one of the 30 coolest B&Bs in Britain in March 2010, by the Times, Bryn Bella is an eco-lover’s dream. Bryn Bella’s eco-friendly credentials are outstanding, all electricity is from renewable sources, water is heated by solar energy and everything is recycled. We also grow our own fruit and vegetables and collect eggs from our chickens running freely outside. Bryn Bella was the first in North Wales to receive the prestigious Gold Award from the Green Business Tourism Scheme, and was named “Most Sustainable B&B” in the Green Snowdonia Tourism Awards. Since then we have continued to improve our credentials by reducing the carbon footprint, a fact recognised in the Carbon foot print awards of 2011. Our latest venture has been to install charging points for electric vehicles to encourage another niche sector to Snowdonia. Guest arriving by electric vehicle can recharge free of charge. Over the 10 years we have been running Bryn Bella, our sustainability has been recognized by a number of awards including in 2010 the Most Sustainable B&B award in the Green Snowdonia Tourism Awards of the Snowdonia Society.
