Our main focus is on the oil & gas sector, our latest developments include the revolutionary Soundmet Steel and Mineral loaded vinyl bonded together for ease of application, improved acoustic performance and improved moisture resistant joints. Coolmet painted PVDF jacketing reflecting external heat away from metal surfaces offering improved corrosion resistance on stainless steel, all secured with our market leading Bandfix range of banding, seals, and accessory's. We have successfully worked on many of the large LNG projects worldwide, our new innovations offer improved metal solutions for acoustics, abrasion resistance, heat reflectivity and emissivity, fire resistance and low temp (Arctic) insulation. E have developed these systems working with Sheffield Hallam University and their Materials Engineering Research Institute (MERI) and a team of engineers. Our solutions have been used and approved by engineers worldwide. All our manufacturing and distribution is centralised around our head office in Preston, Lancashire. From their we can retain strict quality controls before supplying to a mixture of direct end users or local distributors in Australia, USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kazakhstan and many more countries. We have in-house processing facilities for cut to length metals, re-coiling, sliting, wire winding, edge dressing, blanking, lamination including stainless steel, aluminium and Aluzinc. Our coatings include Polythene and Surlyn® used as a moisture barrier (Drymet), PVDF paint coating (Coolmet), Mass loaded Vinyl (Soundmet) or Tedlar™ / PVF (Tedmet) We are the UK's largest independent distributor of Stainless Steel wire, we can offer a full range of stainless steel grades and types including tying or lacing wire, cold heading wire and spring wire.
