bTAQ Consulting was founded by John Matus, a highly experienced former Police Sergeant who undertook training (and operational deployments) in some of the world’s best behavioural training programs. John developed and managed behavioural detection training for the Australian Federal Police, working extensively in the field, training and operationally implementing behavioural detection techniques. The significant increases in arrests, quality Information Reports and enhanced customer service highlighted the unique outcomes that quality human behaviour training provides to an organisation. John’s experience with both training and operational aspects of human behaviour identified several key areas where this type of training could be re-focussed and improved. John formed bTAQ and developed higher order human behaviour training, incorporating behavioural studies and social intelligence with practical operational experience. John’s vision of shaping an organisation's security footprint through Human Behaviour Training has attracted highly experienced and like-minded instructors to bTAQ, The Human Behaviour Training delivered by bTAQ has received immediate success through courses ranging from security awareness through to detecting, deterring and disrupting threats from terrorism and other criminal activities. The bTAQ company page will be used to highlight bTAQ initiatives, but just as importantly it will provide postings which should stimulate discussion on improving security.
