About Bub Hub Blue Mountains Inc
Established in 2022 by local mums, Bub Hub Blue Mountains Inc has provided over 200 childcare places for local families. We’re addressing the critical childcare shortage in our area while making a new form of childcare possible. Our co-working spaces with onsite childcare allow parents to work nearby while their children are cared for by childcare educators. We are supporting new parents maintaining their careers while staying close to their babies, continued breast/chest-feeding without compromise, children with specific needs who benefit from parent proximity, and greater gender equity in the workplace and community. As Bub Hub is often a child's earliest experiences of childcare outside the home, our blended work-care approach gently support parents and children in one of the most transformative stages of their lives.
