About Buchu Trading

Buchu Trading is established in 2015 as the sole distributor/importer for Cape Moondance Buchu in Europe. Buchu is a herb endemic to the Western Cape in South Africa. The herbs holds a number of qualities which a beneficial for the health. Buchu helps to aid or prevent infections to the urinary system like urethritis, cystitis and prostatitis. Buchu is a natural anti-inflammatory and antiseptic and can assist with the prevention of cystitis (bladder infection), prostate and kidney problems and it helps with incontinence associated with prostate problems. Buchu leaves offer natural relief from menstrual problems such as cramps and bloating. In 2016 Buchu Trading acquired Sceletia and became the European distributor for this South African herbal tea as well. Sceletia is a rare combination which combines the pleasant taste and aroma and health benefits of Honeybush with the powerful natural remedy for stress and anxiety, Sceletium. Honeybush, so named in recognition of its honey-scented flowers and the subtle overtones of honey in the fragrance and flavour of the tea derived from it. Sceletium is a succulent occurring naturally in the Karoo and Namaqualand, used for centuries by the Khoi and San and is known for its calming and mood-elevating properties. In 2017 Buchu Trading, realizing and knowing that life and environment are precious, focused on organic products. This was found in becoming agent and distributor for Skimmelberg Buchu and Rooibos. A beautiful company, farming at a close to bio-dynamical way. Next to Skimmelberg we started to represent Cape Kingdom Nutraceuticals. Instead of trading Buchu tea, we started representing Buchu and it's health benefits. Our organic adventure continues by becoming the agent for Soil organic essential oils in the Netherlands and Germany and distributeur for Italy. Again a company focused on environment, it's people and health.
