We offer interim and fractional HR consulting to SMEs, unlocking the potential of people to achieve business goals. With 20+ years HR experience, Founder Mel Bowes brings expertise in business partnering, project & change management, remuneration & benefits, employee relations, learning & development, ED&I and wellbeing. Mel has worked in various industries, including Oil & Gas and FMCG across Australia, Asia Pacific and the UK. In addition to HR consulting, Mel is passionate about helping people reach their full potential through career coaching. She is currently completing HumanTechnic's Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching (2024) and the Professional Certificate in Positive Psychology from The University of Melbourne (2020). Mel loves to learn, constantly expanding her knowledge through books, podcasts, and networking. So why Buddie? The name Buddie comes from a combination of our family's names (Bowes + Mudie), but it's more than just a name. A Buddie is someone you can trust to be there when you need them. A Buddie wants to see you reach your potential, cheering you on and speaking the truth needed to help you be your best.
