About BuddyApp
Our mission at BuddyApp is to bring physical activity intervention as adjuvant therapy for depression into everyday practice. Our team is composed of medical experts, software engineers, and an economist, with the shared goal of developing a simple and practical tool for people with depression to benefit from physical activity. Originally, we started as a research project at the Charité University in Berlin, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to develop the first prototype. We are now part of the Berlin Start-Up Stipendium program and are willing to bring our solution out of the academic context by further developing our prototype into a Smartphone-App.
