About Buddys Italian Ice
In the spring of 2017 brothers Austin and Frank Battaglia came up with a simple idea. Sell delicious Italian Ice at events throughout the Chicago land area. With little starting funds and time they quickly invested in an old school ice cream cart and worked out a contract with their distributor to be able to make their Italian Ice at the distributors dairy plant. The plan was simple use the best possible product they could buy and sell it for much cheaper than the competition. A slow start to the summer turned into a second summer with every weekend being booked up. The Brothers put in the grind and took their small undermanned brand to some of Chicago's Largest events. Vegandale, Hyde Park brew Fest, and Taste of Lincoln Park. The list goes on and on. Going into the the third summer the Boys plan on having a storefront where you can find Chicago's best Italian Ice on the daily.
