Budge Up is a start-up founded by Piotr Francik and Bo Cresser. We’re building a web app designed to support students who feel stressed about money. We know our tool can’t solve the very real financial challenges students face. But we believe part of that stress comes from confusion caused by the unpredictable timing of student loans and expenses. Does this sound familiar? Or are you simply looking for a way to save more? Budge Up will help you see your bank balance in the context of what you should expect at any point in the academic year. That way, you get instant clarity about your situation and can make better choices about your spending and priorities. We’re hoping to demonstrate Budge Up’s value to universities, who could pay a license fee to provide this financial wellbeing tool to amplify the benefit of existing student financial support. The thing is, we need as much testing and feedback as we can get to co-create the perfect tool for students.
