Buena Vista 65 Club is a developer and operator of urban retirement villages (integrated retirement communities) in the UK. With increasing life expectancy, accumulated wealth, and lack of modern specialist housing for people over 65, there is a market worth hundreds of billions of pounds. The majority of available specialist housing in the UK was developed a few decades ago, and the design often lacks an understanding of the needs of over 65s when they grow older and need assistance. As a result, there is a significant supply-demand imbalance in the market. At Buena Vista 65 Club, our vision is to create a portfolio of five urban retirement villages over the course of ten years that adopt environmentally-friendly practices and prioritise social responsibility, becoming a model for sustainable senior living. We operate under the QITI principles, which focus on quality of life, independence, technology, and integration. Our urban retirement villages will feature a range of facilities and amenities, including on-site care units, swimming pools, cinemas, and choice of restaurants. The layout will be designed to promote independence, accessibility, and aging-in-place, with a focus on mobility, dementia-readiness, and telehealth. Our team includes Andrei Antonovski, a private equity investments professional, Steven Byrne, a developer with a track record of delivering award-winning urban regeneration projects, David Higgens, a creative architect with a broad range of project experience, and Alexei Sidnev, the founder of Senior Group, a leading premium senior care provider in Russia. We have entered negotiations to raise a £6 million founding investment in exchange for a percentage of equity in Buena Vista 65 Club, to facilitate business development, site optioning, securing planning consent, and admin and personnel costs.
