The mission of the Buffalo Urban League is . . . To empower African Americans, other minorities and disadvantaged individuals to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights. This Mission is driven by the National Urban League’s Mission and empowers those who are striving toward the mainstream to achieve economic self-reliance and to enjoy their rights as citizens under the law.
