About BUGG Motion

The BUGG Motion project aims to become a brand of minimalist vehicles that provide answers to socio-environmental issues aimed at reducing impact. The project starts from the fact that today's cars are too heavy and technologically complex. This makes them very material-intensive to produce, energy-intensive to use and very polluting throughout their life cycle. The heart of the ecological problem of the car should not be the choice of engine and energy source. The real problem is the lack of energy efficiency of cars in relation to the services they provide. Indeed, more than 90% of the energy used is dedicated to moving the vehicle itself and not the passenger(s). BUGG therefore wants to develop minimalist, design-oriented and efficient vehicles. The aim is to be a disruptive, low impact alternative. The BUGG philosophy is based on material sobriety and focuses on essential needs. This is achieved through eco-design, lite-tech, fair-trade and reparability. In addition to being environmentally friendly and ethical, BUGG vehicles are intended to be safe, fun, versatile, ergonomic, timeless and aesthetic. BUGG Motion wants to do better with less! "Less is more" & "light is right".
