Building Blocks Preschool-An Early Childhood Learning Community, believes in giving each child a “love for learning." Our school is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and educators such as Piaget, Erickson and Vygotsky. We support children’s learning and valuing the process of continually listening and documenting children's ideas. * Emergent Curriculum approach. We follow the interest of the children. * We utilize the environment as the third teacher. * We support the intellectual, social/emotional, moral and physical development of each child. * We communicate the learning process daily through “Learning Stories”, newsletters, web-based communications, documentation, and educational portfolios and regular feedback to parents.
