About Building Bright Futures of Vermont

Building Bright Futures (BBF) is a nonprofit organization working to improve the wellbeing of young children and families in Vermont. Established by law through Act 104, we are Vermont’s early childhood public-private partnership that works to monitor the state’s early care, health and educational systems. We advise the Administration and legislature on policy and systems improvements using a network of 12 regional coordinators and a State Advisory Council appointed by the governor. Operating at both the state and local level, we convene stakeholders and community members to ensure that needs and gaps in care are addressed.
