Founded by Master Builders Victoria (MBV) in 2010, the Building & Construction Foundation is an independent registered charity committed to empowering individuals to build meaningful careers in the construction industry. Our mission is to eliminate financial & social barriers to education & employment, providing access to opportunities for those from underrepresented & marginalised communities. By doing so, we aim to create a diverse, inclusive, & skilled workforce that reflects our society & meets the industry's evolving needs. Our Mission and Impact: We are dedicated to creating a future where everyone, regardless of background or circumstance, has the chance to thrive in construction. Through scholarships, mentorship, & community support programs, we work to break cycles of poverty & disengagement. We equip individuals with the education, training, & work opportunities needed for successful careers. How We Make a Difference: * Early Career Scholarship: Offering $2,500 to individuals starting apprenticeships or pre-apprenticeships in skilled trades, helping them gain foundational skills for a career in construction. * Leadership Scholarship: Providing up to $5,000 for those pursuing construction-related diplomas or degrees, fostering the next generation of industry leaders. Beyond financial aid, we are deeply committed to community engagement. Our projects provide mentorship, skills development, & hands-on training for women, Indigenous Australians, refugees, immigrants, & youth from disadvantaged backgrounds.
