About Built Engineers
Built Engineers specialises in providing structural design services to distinctive architecturally led building projects. The workload is varied and challenging utilising diverse materials in a wide range of sectors. The office culture places equal emphasis on technical ability and sense for design. We employ people who have outside interests in designing and/or making in addition to their engineering degrees. We prefer to get involved in projects at the early concept design stage. In design development we look for the best structural solutions within the Architectural brief; sometimes we challenge the brief. Our engineers are trained to be capable of producing their own detailed and resolved CAD arrangement and detail drawings in addition to design calculations. All work is overseen by a Director or Associate level engineer.
