Bulk Terminal Zeeland is located at the port of Vlissingen. Vlissingen is centrally situated in the southwest of the Netherlands inbetween Rotterdam and Antwerp. Our terminal can handle vessels with a maximum draft of 11.5 meters llw. The port is an open port without any locks. Our terminal in only ten minutes from the highway leading to all inland destinations. All inland waterways are accesable by barge. At our terminal we have 11.0ha of storage space available of which 3.5ha is covered. Most of the warehouses are especially designed to store bulk products. The terminal is sealed and safe. The gate can only be opened by authorised personnel and there is appropriate theft protection. From our terminal your cargo can be forwarded all over Europe, by truck or barge. Because of the favourable location of the terminal near to the highway system, trucks can go inland without delays or traffic jams. This makes the transport most reliable. Our terminal is also directly connected to the European waterway system which enables us to ship cargo inland by barge, the most environmental way of transport within Europe. At our terminal we have the possibility to crush and screen any bulk cargo in exactly the size you want. Repacking in drums, bigbags or containers is possible. Marking, weighing per unit or truck; you name it, we do it! Various cranes are available to load and discharge your cargo. We can also handle board/board cargoes. Discharging and loading of bulk cargoes is one of our specialities. For ship owners it is interesting to know that the port charges are approx. 30% cheaper than in the surrounding ports.
