About Bulkbag Containers

Our origins date back to 1984 and have been manufacturing Bulkbags in the UK ever since. We manufacture and service a broad customer base, with our products utilised in most industries. Our core business is manufacturing FIBCs of all specifications but also manufacturing other unique and innovative industrial sewn products. Our manufacturing and distribution is based in Dundee, Scotland. Who are we? We are a family run ISO9001:2015 NQA – UKAS accredited heavy industrial sewing specialists, the business established in 1984, initially set up serving the SUB SEA industry manufacturing pipeline support bags / fabric formworks and in the same year utilizing the industrial sewing expertise we moved into bulkbag (FIBC) manufacture. We have both the work force and the pioneering technical experience from two leading UK manufacturers Pail Containers Ltd and Bulkbag Ltd. What do we do? We are the innovative manufacturing company, best known globally as the business who created the Offshore and Subsea Industry standard bulk bag. This development improved safety and reduced operational costs for the contractors and operators using bulk bags offshore and subsea. Through sewing experience we branched into the manufacture and development of Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs). With our engineering design background, combined with our dedicated workforce some having 35+ years of experience in this industry, gives us the technical edge and makes us the go to Company for your safe transportation and storage needs, safe in the knowledge we have successfully created many bespoke innovative solutions for troublesome situations including in the most arduous environments. In addition to our sewing activities we also have PE welding capabilities, allowing for a range of lined bulk bags and waterproof storage and transportation requirements.
