BUMBLEance is the difference that transforms a sick child’s journey. We exist to empower the hundreds of families unable to access their child’s medical care by providing nationwide medical transfers in a safe, caring and fun environment, completely free of charge. The difference we create is that we turn miles into smiles, allowing sick children to be children. BUMBLEance provides lifechanging journeys, allowing access to lifesaving care for hundreds of children each year. Last year, we looked after the journey and allowed parents to take a back seat 2,000 times. Our specially-designed interiors that offer entertainment, activities, environmental support and emotional comfort, enabled us to transform over half a million kilometres of journeys, reaching every county in Ireland. At BUMBLEance, our heroes wear seatbelts – not capes. Our dedicated drivers operate a fleet stationed across the country, ensuring personalised, localised support to each family that travels with us. Each vehicle offers a break from the outside world with sensory lighting, child-friendly decor, entertainment and seats for parents and siblings. By offering these door-to-door journeys free of charge, we reduce the worry and anxiety parents carry. With BUMBLEance, we support the whole family and take away the worries of parking, tolls and comfort, letting parents focus on what they do best: care for their child.
