About Bundles of Hope

The concept for Bundles of Hope began when Brenda, (a family member of Jackie, one of our two founders) told of experiences she'd had at work. She had worked with doctors, moms and newborns in our local hospitals. Brenda told of mothers leaving the hospital with their newborns but lacking the financial ability to provide even the barest necessities needed to care for their babies. She spoke with several mothers who told her of the stresses they were facing. These moms came up in conversation between Brenda and Jackie, then again between founders Jackie and Mary. This problem touched their hearts and they felt that they had to do something to help our local moms get the needed baby care products. We give mothers in hardship a “Bundle of Hope”. Each one is made up of at least 25 useful baby care items and no 2 bundles are the same. They all contain a change of clothes, a receiving blanket, a hat and much, much more! Any donations received go right back into the community. We accept new car seats, gently used toys, furniture, etc. Bundles of Hope is a 501.c.3 approved nonprofit organization. All donations are completely tax deductible! We do not discriminate against anyone based on age, sex, need, race, religion, or disability. We accept referrals from doctors, hospitals, friends, family, and other community organizations.
