Our firm was founded in 1974 by William E. Burch, deceased. Mr. Burch was joined in 1975 by his previous associate, James B. Fincher, and later Terry D. Smith was promoted as the third director of the firm.Currently the firm has three additional Certified Public Accountants, all of whom have in excess of 20 years of experience and two of whom have earned Master's Degrees in Business Administration from UNT. The firm's objective has has been to provide quality accounting, tax, and consulting services to clients. A concern for the general public interest has helped establish a reputation within our community and has encouraged growth from within our community through a base of satisfied clients and a network of professionals acting as referral sources. Our clients are broadly based, consisting of medical associations,wholsale distributors, construction contractors,real estate developers, specialized service providers, attorneys, trusts, and entrepreneurs of all kinds. Burch, Fincher & Company, P.C. is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. It is also a member of the Client Practice Section of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the United Business Alliance.
