About BureauBR

BureauBR is een middelgrote architectuurpraktijk met twee vestigingen. Een regionaal team in Bree werkt nauw samen met een internationaal team in Brussel. Samen concentreren we ons op het onderzoekend ontwerp van private groepswoningbouw, sociale huisvesting, publieke gebouwen en scholenbouw. We werken steeds in open dialoog met onze klanten, partners en de omgeving. Voor ieder project zoeken we naar de juiste expertise binnen ons team en vullen deze aan met interessante en vruchtbare profielen buiten ons team. Onze werkomgeving ondersteunt deze open werkethiek door flexibele werkplekken aan te bieden aan andere organisaties en bureaus. Ons kantoor ontstond in 1987 onder leiding van Jef Vandekerkhof. Het groeide sindsdien uit tot ‘architekt-nburo’. De opening van een nieuwe vestiging in Brussel en de intrede van een tweede generatie binnen het management leidde in 2022 tot een naamsverandering naar ‘BureauBR’.
