Burnaby Insulation/SPI began operations in 1983 as a distribution business focused on the mechanical insulation industry. The company started as a privately owned Canadian business headquartered in Burnaby, B.C. Over the years we added branch distribution centres in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta. Our Edmonton operation has fabrication capabilities to produce a complete range of preformed insulation fittings from all types of insulation products. On June 28, 2010 the company was purchased by Superior Plus Construction Products Distribution (CPD) a division of Superior Plus LP. CPD is one of those divisions comprised of Winroc, Specialty Products & Insulation (SPI) and Burnaby Insulation. The newly acquired business now operates as Burnaby Insulation/SPI.
