About Burton Foods
Burton Restaurants started in 2014 with the purchase of the store development rights for Central and Southern San Diego. Our first store located on Balboa Naval Hospital opened later that year followed shortly by of the first Dunkin' ever built in California aboard Camp Pendleton. In 2016 we opened our first standalone restaurant in National City that broke sales records across the country. We have continued to grow and now have 12 Dunkin's in San Diego County. In 2021 Burton Sandwiches opened up our first Jimmy John location in San Clemente. Over the next 6 years more than 20 Jimmy Johns locations are expected to open throughout San Diego County. The owner of our company, Talisan H. Burton, (Tali) a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served 12 years active duty, flying UH-1N helicopters, and continues to serve in the Marine Corps Reserves.
