Burtons Medical Equipment has been manufacturing, distributing and servicing a complete range of veterinary and medical equipment since the company was founded by Fred Burton in 1981 Now run by Fred’s son, David Burton, it has remained a company with family at its heart, keeping the core values of remaining a service based company its top priority. Starting out as just a small company in Maidstone, Burtons began as a broad supplier and servicing company to private NHS hospitals & veterinary practices. The constant connection to vets and customer requests made it clear that the veterinary market would soon become the main focus, and there began one of the markets leading brands Burtons Veterinary Equipment. Manufacturing many of its key product lines at its principal facility in Staplehurst, Kent. whilst working closely with some of the world’s leading brands in medical and veterinary supplies Burtons is now one of the UK’s biggest and most respected suppliers of capital equipment to the Veterinary market. Fully backed by its own, nationwide, service and repair division. Our extensive range of veterinary equipment and services now covers everything from anaesthesia to X-ray, with continuous expansion into new areas year on year.
