The company was founded by David Smith, who is the GodFather of selling Accounting and Tax Practices in California. David retired in December of 2017 and has turned over the reins of the Firm to his nephew, Lee Ribolin who has run the Northern California Office for over a decade. Lee has sold hundreds of practices in both Northern and Southern California. His leadership and experience are second to none in this industry. Lee learned how to be the best he can be by working under David Smith for so many quality years. In 2016 Lee and David brought on Craig Van Laningham to take over the Southern California region. Craig brings a host of experience to the position and will bring a digital marketing background to go along with his experience selling Accounting and Tax Practices. The firm is anchored by Linda Long who has been with the company for over 25 years. Linda worked side by side with David Smith and her knowledge and experience have proved invaluable to BBI.
